about icom workplace
In an age where consumer advertising and communication is at the height of its power and influence, the quest for the creative edge is remorseless. With more people than ever before in employment, and spending nearly half their working lives in the workplace, it has become increasingly important for employers and advertisers to reach their target audience in this setting.
The need to evolve and more crucially, innovate within this dynamic is a very important characteristic in your chosen voluntary benefit partner. The essential objective of employee communication is to inform, involve and incentivise. icom workplace can help you successfully achieve employee information, involvement and motivation through ‘Vectis’ our new voluntary benefits solution.
We began life 1993 as ADCO, part of the Abba Print Group. The acronym stood for the Affinity Development Company and we pioneered the concept of payroll advertising through the 1990’s evolving into the leading exponent of this media by the end of the decade.
By 2006 we achieved a volume of approximately 1 million public and private sector employees throughout the UK who we reached through new and existing workplace media channels. This success has led us to conduct a full strategic review of the market place and our corresponding role for the future.
We concluded that Voluntary Benefit providers had good content, but poor communication capability whilst so called workplace communication providers had good media capability, but poor content. Combining the best feature of these two models: excellent content plus effective communication, was considered to be the perfect proposition.
So we have created ‘Vectis’. Please click on Products and Services for a more details
