About TraceSAFE BTV
TraceSAFE BTV is Modular Blood Transfusion Verification (BTV) System that extends the capability of existing pathology systems
TraceSOFT LAB
Electronically collect, print and report TraceSAFE blood transfusion compatibility labels. Once transfused: view, confirm/report fate of blood to internal (Archive) database or existing pathology system. Print/Email exception reports and request fate updates. Being a PC based solution removes the need for expensive and complicated security wireless LAN (WLAN) networks.
TraceSAFE TAG
It is a specialised tagging label system that offers a simple yet comprehensive solution for Blood Transfusion Departments.
- Clearly printed information improves visual checking procedures at the bedside and avoid transcription errors
- Ensures information is recorded in the case note
- Secure fastening avoids labels becoming detached from the blood bag
- Provides a methodology for proof of Transfusion for each unit
TransSAFE Verifier
Ensures the correct compatibility label is applied to correct blood product in lab, and correct blood product is given to correct patient at point of transfusion. TransSAFE verifiers used in the blood transfusion procedure removes the need for multiple care givers.
TraceSOFT LAB Fridge
After the TraceSAFE TAG is attached to the unit of blood, records details of all units IN and OUT or main LAB fridge
TraceSOFT Satellite Fridge
Records details all units IN and OUT of Satellite fridge, monitors time taken from main LAB fridge, alerting care giver and system if out of date.
TraceSOFT WARD
Confirms blood is within date/time after removal from either main LAB Fridge or Satellite Fridge. Confirms on ward PC that the right blood products are given to the right patient and/or fate of blood, enter details manually or electronically when using TransSAFE Verifier & Positive Patient Identification technology
